Refund Policy
Our approach to cancellations, milestone payments, and refunds - written plainly so both sides know where they stand.
Milestone payment structure
We work on a simple, transparent milestone structure: 50% to begin development, and the remaining 50% on completion, before final handover. This protects both sides - you're never paying in full upfront, and we're able to commit fully to your project from day one.
Work completed is non-refundable
Because projects are delivered in phases, any payment corresponding to work already completed is non-refundable on a proportional basis. If a project ends early, you receive deliverables for the work paid for up to that point; we do not refund fees for design, development, or other work already performed and approved or delivered.
Discovery and planning fees
For larger or custom-scoped engagements, a separate discovery or planning fee may apply before detailed quoting. Discovery fees cover scoping, technical review, and written recommendations. These fees are non-refundable once discovery work has begun, as they represent billable professional time regardless of whether the full project proceeds.
Cancellation
Either party may cancel an engagement with written notice. On cancellation, the client pays for all work completed to date. Any prepaid amount exceeding the value of completed work may be credited or refunded at SKITE's discretion, minus non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on the client's behalf.
